Batch #25 - Kveik Mead


This is a quick mead using kveik yeast

Recipe

Fermentables

  • 5.1 lbs Wildflower honey

Yeast

  • Mainiacal Yeast - Midtbust

Brewday Notes

5.1 lbs of raw honey was added to the fermenter and mixed with 5 gallons of water.

12 tsp of yeast nutrient was added and the must was aerated.

Fermentation

This will be fermented with no temperature control in my garage with daily outdoors highs in the mid-80s.

6/22/2019 - Down to 8.6 brix and needs more time.
